Workshop Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to any person that are attending my workshops.

Please ensure you have read and understand the following:

1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a workshop, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. You will ensure that you, or any other persons attending the workshop on your behalf shall comply with these terms. The contract is formed when we send you a booking confirmation. If you gift this workshop, I must be informed immediately on the name and contact details of the recipient.

2. Payment

The fee for attending the workshop will be as stated upon booking. All payments must be made in full at the time of booking. If payment is not received or is returned to you, your booking will be cancelled

3. Refunds

All workshop bookings are non-refundable within two weeks of the start date. This increases to FOUR weeks if you are attending a RETREAT and is subject to me filling the spaces. If you are unable to attend a workshop for any reason, you can email me at shop@emmelinewebb.com to provide me with the name of the substitute person to attend the workshop on your behalf. On receipt of this email, I shall make such substitutions my end.

4. Cancellation

All workshop bookings are non-refundable if cancelled within two weeks of the starting date. Please email me at shop@emmelinewebb.com to provide me with the name of a substitute person as stated above in point 3. There may be circumstances in which I need to cancel the workshop. Although unlikely, In any circumstance that I have to cancel the workshop, I will provide you with a full refund. I will make effort to provide you with such refund within 7 days from the date of cancellation.

5. Postponement

There may be circumstances in which I need to postpone the workshop. I will advise you of such postponement as soon as I possibly can. If the postponement is for more than 6 months after the publicised date of the workshop, you may cancel your booking by emailing me at shop@emmelinewebb.com and in this circumstance, I would honour a full refund.

6. Liability and Disclaimer - important, please read: 

My sole liability in relation to any refund, cancellation or postponement is limited to the price paid by you for the workshop, minus the website and banking charges incurred by me. This is usually around 20% of the price you have paid. I cannot be liable for any other consequential losses, so may need to add materials charges too. 

7. Your Obligations

If you act or behave in any way which is likely to cause harm or nuisance to other participants at the workshop, you will be required to leave and I shall not be liable to refund your workshop booking fee, or any other associated payments. 

8. Photography and Filming

We may wish to photograph or occasionally film the workshop. I reserve the right to do so for the purposes of promoting future workshops or otherwise. In booking the workshop you consent to being photographed. You may not photograph or video the workshop without our prior consent.

9. Data Protection

I will always communicate with you using the contact details you provide on booking the workshop. Unless you otherwise state differently.

10. Tickets

We will not send you tickets for the workshop. However, you will receive a booking confirmation email. Upon booking, your name will be added to the workshop attendee list. Vouchers: If you are buying the workshops as a gift, please email me and I can arrange to send an automated gift card for the workshop. Its always best to check availability with people who are receiving a workshop as a gift. 

12. Travel, Accommodation and Refreshments

You will be responsible for making and paying for your own travel and accommodation arrangements to and from the workshop. If you are late at the workshop or prevented from attending the workshop due to travel delays or any other circumstances, we shall not be obliged to provide you with a refund or to wait to start the workshop until you arrive. Refreshments will be provided, and all day workshops included a veggie ploughman's lunch, or veggie soup option in winter.

13. Disability, Medical Conditions and Dietary Requirements

If you have any disability or medical condition that requires me to make special arrangements for you or any special dietary requirements, please email me at shop@emmelinewebb.com before booking or as soon as possible and in advance of your workshop by a minimum of two weeks. I'm afraid my home studio & accommodation do have steps, one on entry and a few to the bathroom facility.

14. Limitations of Liability

Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure security and safety at the workshop, I shall not in any way under any circumstance be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you whatsoever in relation to the workshop and your visit. Nothing in these terms shall be deemed to limit the liability of any person for death or personal injury caused by negligence. 

My liability for any matter arising out of the contract shall in all circumstances be limited to the price paid by you for the workshop and we shall not in any circumstances be liable to you for any consequential loss whatsoever.

15. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by English Law and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
