*NEW* Heading Home - Walks Series

This recent collection of landscape paintings were inspired by my walks in the Devonshire countryside. Being at one with nature is very much an integral part to my art life. Whether I'm up close sketching plants and flowers or walking in the countryside listening to birdsong, its all very much at the heart of what makes these landscape walks series of paintings.

Painted using mixed media techniques but mainly in acrylic, finished in oils on a boxed canvas. As usual there is an element of gold oil paint to add another layer of interest. The oil bars also provide the rustic texture of walks in nature. Adding another layer of interest when the light captures the surface. This canvas is 5cm deep and is painted on all 4 sides too. Signed and varnished in artist quality satin to protect it from direct sunlight. All ready to hang and display.
