Nurture Nature Northern Lights ii

Original mixed media painting on canvas. 

Size: 50cm x 40cm

This painting was inspired by the Northern Lights, the auroras in the sky and the way light shines onto the leaves at nighttime. This piece started out as an abstract painting, which I have then painted in the negative space to create botanical leaf shapes and embellished further by drawing over the top in ink.

I also have matching homewares in this pattern, before the final layer of ink drawing. There are currently cushions, tea towels and lampshades available, with more to come. 

I would describe this design as uplifting and fresh, with a dreamy twist.
