Whispers Of Dartmoor

My method of painting these new landscapes is to immerse myself in the land, somedays walking for miles, noting my feelings and emotions along the way. I then return to the studio and work from my memories of the day, giving my response to the canvas. I worked this one over a period of weeks, building in fine layers of oil paint. The colours were chosen to represent the tranquility I find on the moor.

The original painting is 100 x 100 x 5cm and professionally framed with a cream painted box frame, which is rounded on the face adding a stylish and quality finish to the work. Finished size is 105cm x 105cm x 6cm.
