Overview: Are you ready to explore your creativity in 2025? Have you ever admired the intricate beauty of lino printing and wanted to try it for yourself? If so, join me for a restorative workshop in my home studio, where I’ll guide you step by step through the process.
Whether you're completely new to printmaking or have tried it before, this workshop is designed to help you develop new skills and create a beautiful finished design inspired by local plants and our natural world. The art of lino printing is not only rewarding but also incredibly therapeutic - a perfect practice for those cold winter days when you need a creative outlet.
What to Expect:
Learn Lino Printing from Scratch: I’ll guide you through every stage of the process—from designing and carving your lino block to inking and printing. You'll walk away with your own finished prints and a deeper understanding of this versatile art form.
Nature-Inspired Design: The workshop will focus on creating designs inspired by the beauty of nature, from botanical forms to landscapes. You’ll learn how to translate these organic shapes and scenes into striking, graphic prints.
Personalised Instruction: With small group sizes, I’ll provide individual attention to each participant, ensuring you get the support you need at every step. My goal is to help you build confidence in your printmaking skills and inspire your creative expression.
Restorative Creative Practice: Lino printing is a soothing and meditative process that allows you to get lost in the flow of creativity. Surrounded by the calm of my home studio, you’ll find this workshop the perfect opportunity to relax and immerse yourself in art.
All Materials Included: I will provide all the necessary materials, including lino, carving tools, paper, and inks. Just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
